We are a English/Thai couple – Perry (English) and Katae (Thai) and this is our blog.
This is the place where we document our story and interests living in rural Thailand.
Fun Fact: The name of our blog, ‘Thinglish‘ morphed from the words Thai and English.
It’s also a Best Lifestyle Blog Awards 2019 Finalist.
Perry is the founder of Blend Local Search Marketing PTE LTD., a SEO and digital marketing company in Singapore. He loves travel, cups of tea, permaculture and rock music.
Katae is a creative genius with food and the owner of the Thinglish Kitchen restaurant and a thriving Etsy shop. She also like traveling, personal fitness, Hello Kitty and learning languages.
We live in Trat, Thailand in a shipping container house set in a small permaculture food forest with our two dogs, Cobain (Golden Retriever) and Money (Pomeranian), a couple of sheep – Ying and Monkey, and a flock of chickens.
In late 2018, we invested in a small, neglected fruit farm close to where we live and developed it further to grow cocoa and produce a ‘beyond organic’ tree to bar craft chocolate. You can discover more about our adventures with craft chocolate making on our brand website – Anarchy Chocolate.
Thinglish Lifestyle publish a blog post once per week. We also have an establish YouTube channel and although we are not as active as we used to be there, we still create new vlogs and videos when we have time. Subscribe to be alerted to when we drop fresh content.
